This is the last installment of the Empire of Lies trilogy.
Such a riveting and swoony conclusion to Meredith and Michael's twisted but sweet romance.
This was definitely a departure from the author's usual storyline but I enjoyed each written page. There are triggers though because it mentioned about child abuse and physical harm to your own family member... and I also wish Meredith could've made Michael more, lol.
If you're looking for a darker, twisted romance in this time of self-quarantine, then this is the series to pick up.
