RS Grey is one of my go-to authors. I have most of her books on my reader... and this one, I read in one full-afternoon.
I had the opportunity to review an ARC of hers in 2016, and I'm so excited to be blessed with another this year.
It's sort of an enemies-to-lovers story, only they weren't really enemies—Matt was just prickly and always so serious about everything... and Bailey is his opposite.
I've read a handful of medical romance, and the one that sets this apart from the rest is that the male lead isn't your usual playboy surgeon who thinks he's God's gift to women... he mostly just keeps to himself and concentrates on his work—which is refreshing.
I love the overall story... the concept is not new but I love Matt and Bailey. I just wished they could've resisted each other longer in the beginning... like maybe have more jealous fits or something... more drama you know? that would've added more to the excitement... well at least in my opinion, lol.
Its a light read... It's sweet and swoony and its something you'd want to pick up after a long day.
