SEEK by Author MIA SHERIDAN

SYNOPSIS:

Wealthy socialite Olivia Barton never imagined her fiancé would disappear on what was supposed to be a routine business trip. She's even more heartbroken and confused when a hired private investigator tracks him half a world away, to a seaside town in Colombia. But the country has recently been ravaged by a massive earthquake and deadly tsunami, shutting down outside communication and making travel all but impossible. Still, Olivia is determined to make it to Colombia to find the answers she so desperately seeks. What she needs is a guide—a mercenary.

The man named Thomas arrives in shadows, an unmistakable air of danger about him, promising to help lead her through the ruined, crime-infested country. But when Thomas and Olivia find themselves fighting an undeniable attraction, danger takes on a whole new meaning. Then again, in the lush jungles of South America, all the rules are different and Thomas and Olivia are about to discover that sometimes the thing you seek, isn't necessarily the thing you find.

MY THOUGHTS AFTER READING...

I did a happy dance when I received an ARC from Mia Sheridan... the MIA SHERIDAN... I may have bragged a wee bit because, hello?? Mia Sheridan?? She's just so awesome and I love her books! So anyway... 'nuff about that.

If you're here, reading this...right now—I'm sure ya'll wanna know my thoughts about the book SEEK and not about how great Mia Sheridan is.... because duh, everybody already knows she is. Okay? Good? Alrighty! So on with the review... lol

I don't know why, but Rhianna's song featuring Calvin Harris—WE FOUND LOVE, played in my mind while I was contemplating on what things to write about this book... and I guess in a way it made sense because Livvy and Brody has indeed found love in a hopeless place. It's the unexpected kinda' love that makes your toes curl and gives that dipping feeling in your tummy...

It wasn't insta-love for these two, but they fell for eachother within a week's time... I'm not usually a fan of book couples falling in love in just a short amount of time because I dont think its realistic... but still the author worked her magic and paced them good... the build-up of the anticipation of whats to come as you turn page after friggin page... it was all so vivid and in HD inside my head... yeah sure, there were some parts towards the end where I was scowling and thought, "Really? that happens??" but we never know. Anything is possible in this world...

Is it too obvious that I loved it?? While I was reading it, I was thinking...this would make a good movie. I had a bookhangover for a couple of days for crying out loud!lol

This book has everything—action, drama, comedy, suspense and of course romance! Totally worth pulling an all-nighter!
