MY THOUGHTS AFTER READING...

 

This is my first ARC from Katee Robert and I was so excited to receive one! I couldnt wait to dig in and devour the story.

 

The story revolves around Lucy and Gideon. They've known eachother since college... when I started to read the story the first thing that came to my mind was the song "Jesse's Girl." And its basically like that... Gideon is secretly in love with Lucy. Lucy is Jeff's girlfriend turned fianceé. Jeff is one of Gideon's bestfriends. Jeff turned into a cheating scumbag. Gideon saved Lucy from making a mistake. Years had passed then one day Gideon got a phone call from Lucy, enlisting his help in finding candidates to become her husband... and it all snowballed from there. Dormant feelings awoke. Past issues arose... all the insecurities and anxiety was driving me crazy, and all the swee moments made me have warm fussy feelings!Lol

 

The storyline isnt very new, though it had its own uniqueness. The characters were good. The pacing was great. The cover was hot... Overall, I love the story. There were parts in the story were I rolled my eyes and got exasperated coz I thought they were ridiculous but it all worked out in the end. I just wish there was an epilogue about them starting a family or something... I'm that sappy lol

 

Anyone who's up for a story about unrequieted love...a story about being in love with his bestfriend's girl... a light and sexy read, this is the book to pick up next!
