MY THOUGHTS AFTER READING...

I was so excited to receive this ARC! This is why I was happy dancing she's releasing a new book. I was literally counting the days! JL Berg is one of my top 5 favorite authors, and When You're Ready is hands-down, one of my favorite reads of all time... I cant remember how many times I've read it. 

 

I just loooove how she tells a story... she has this gift of transforming simple words into something so vivid and heartfelt that you cant help but feel the same emotions the characters in the story is going through—their ups and downs, their anger, their anxiety, their love... how her characters evolve as the story goes on... and how she makes you ponder and realize about things while reading...

 

Needless to say I love, love, love it! Jake and Molly's story will certainly pull on your heartstrings... There are parts in the story that I definitely didnt see coming... This isnt your very typical second-chance romance, but a second-chance nonetheless. 

 

This isn't just a mere love story... It's a story full of life lessons as well... It especially highlights the fact that we're always a decision away from a totally different life... that every choice we make, leads us to a different path... But even so, if God and Fate will work together,  true love will always find its way.

 

I would've wanted a longer epilogue coz I wanted more Jake and Molly... thats my only complain...lol 

 

This book is an awesome break from all the celebrity-romance I've read in the past couple of weeks. Its not a light read, but not crazy angsty and draining either...  and just incase you're a softy at heart, have your Kleenex at arms-length.... Thats all I'm saying.
