My Thoughts After Reading...
This is my first time reviewing for Ms. Terri E. Laine and I must say that I feel like I've missed a lot! She's such a brilliant story-teller! She kept me on my toes the whole time!
This book is all about resilience...it teaches you that what happened to you in the past doesn't define who you are today. This story deals with real-time world issues... This makes you aware of the fact that bad things could happen to anybody, anytime, anywhere... and that bad people comes in all shapes and sizes.
This story isn't so grossly graphic despite the sensitivity of the topic but still it gives you a vivid idea of what had happened—of what was done... You can really feel the emotional and the mental breakdown of character, and your heart breaks along as well. One cant help but empathize...
Man, I dont even know how to begin to explain without having to give away anything. This book is just so full of twists and turns than Lombard Street in SF!lol Just when I think I've figured something out, I'm wrong! It literally kept me guessing until the last couple of chapters, which surprised me so much... It's an HEA, but prepare to be taken on an emotional ride!
