In Fake Empire, we read about Crew Kensington marrying Scarlett Ellsworth—who was initially betrothed to Oliver Kensington, who is Crew's workaholic, take-charge, older brother. We also get a glimpse of Hannah Garner who was also Crew's ex-something.
Real Regrets is Oliver and Hannah's book. Here we get a full-on insight on why Oliver and Hannah are the way they were. Their humanity is relatable, and they definitely redeemed themselves.
I love this book more than the first one, to be honest. I did not mind the lack of sleep. I just couldn't put it down. It's more heartwarming, more angsty and more sรฉxรฟ.
Regrets are part of being alive and resilient. People who say they don't regret any single thing in life aren't being 100% truthful, in my opinion. We all have actions or decisions we wish we could take back. We're human after all.
So happy to meet these wonderful characters. It was riveting from the first chapter to the last. It's inspiring and swoon-worthy! I wish there was another epilogue of them being parents!
I'm having a book-hungover! So good!
Love it!
