This book tore my heart, in all JL Berg fashion. It hit close to home—except the brothers thing, but losing a loved-one, the fear of losing another, the not knowing your place in the world, floundering on how to start over... those hit close to home. It's like some of the words where taken from my mind and my heart and put it into words.
It's not an easy read for it deals with a cheating spouse, a parent's death and loss of your sense of self.
There are parts where I got frustrated... the push and pull got to me, but I understand that it was needed in the book. Depending on your emotional state, I suggest you get your tissues within near reach.
This book is definitely another new favorite of mine...
