This is my first ARC from Brittainy Cherry but I have read all of her books... I've probably read The Air He Breathes four or five times already, eversince it came out... Its one of my go-to books whenever I'm in a book slump.
OMG! Where do I even start?? This just so overwhelmingly good! I am most certain that this is my favorite book of the year! Although I hadn't ugly-cried, I definitely cried a lot while reading it. It pulled on my heartstrings from the first chapter to the last. It was warm, and all kinds of beautiful.
The storyline was unique. The story itself was very well-thought of... the pacing of the story was perfect... and the main characters are all amazing! I just love, love, love everything! My favorite parts are those of Jasmine and Ray... I'm a huge daddy's girl, so those parts between a father and his daughter were so beautiful and touching.
Nobody finds their soulmates when they're young... but in this case, Elliott and Jasmine found eachother. This story teaches you when to let go and how long to hold on...
Brittainy Cherry is just so full of magic and is such a brilliant storyteller.
BEHIND THE BARS is not something to miss out on! Gaaaah! I wish I have a signed copy for this one! lol
