It's been a while since I've read anything from Samantha Young, and I did not expect to be g!v3n an Ä-R-Ç.
This book was such a wonderful surprise. I haven't been to that part of the world so I had a little bit of a struggle when it came to imagining the place and pretending to know the accents on its executed in my head by the characters...
Anyway... I did't expect to love this story as much as I did. Although I thought it could've had more "jealous tendencies" or friction but overall it was enjoyable from beginning to end.
I deduce that the other characters have their own books but this one can still be read as a standalone. It's swoon-worthy, s3xy, a little angsty but heartwarming.
I can't wait to read about Fyfe and Eilidh!
