I've been anticipating this ARC ever since I've learned I'm going to receive one! One the blurb was released I couldn't contain my excitement.
I've always been a fan of Ms. Cherry ever since I read Loving Mr. Daniels and now my absolute fave book from her is going to be a movie—The Air He Breathes. I think I've re-read that book 3 times since that came out years ago.
I was bracing myself for this one... like how would this one unfold—a business partner of your fiancé whom you've spent an amazing night with a couple of years ago, someone who changed your life by just a very brief time.
This is not an easy read, as like any other books from this author—but this one is more angsty and heavier than I've expected. I wish there was more of them being together... like more stolen moments. But that's just me. I wish there was an epilogue of them starting a family. I've always been a huge fan of epilogues, lol.
It's swoony worthy, heartbreaking and heartwarming.
