This is my second read from the author. I've been in a rut lately and I was looking for a YA read, and this ARC just hit on time.
It's a pretend-boyfriend, sort of an enemies to lovers, high school romance. It wasn't very relatable but I was riveted from start to finish.
It was angsty & frustrating but it was also sweet and swoony... Overall, I did enjoy the story. It's an easy despite the wee bit of angst... just your usual high school drama indulgence. Think of it as the new 90210 and Gossip Girl combined.
If you're a fan of Tijan's Fallen Crest series and Allie Everhart's Jade Series, then you'd surely like this book.
