Erin Branscom is a new author for me. I found her on Inst@gr@m and got curious. So I looked-up this particular series and long story short—here we are!
This is Mellie and Ty's story... I'm not going into much details, just that this book is a story about family, safe-havens, resilience, second-chances and finding love in strange circumstances.
I gotta say, I don't know if this is just me but it took me a while to warm up to Mellie—I'm sorry! She was frustrating and has some Dr.-Jekyll-and-Mr.-Hyde thing going on... and this went through-out the book... and Ty...well let's just say he brought the "worth" in swoon-worthy!
And a huge shoutout to Kase and Nova for bringing in the added cuteness-factor!
I don't normally like fast-moving romances because I feel like it's unnatural, and in this day and age, and especially at my age—it's hard to let yourself be vulnerable like that but Mellie did. What she went through... **sigh** anyway...
Overall, I enjoyed the book and I can't wait to read Preston's story next!
