Nikki Ash is not a new author for me because I have some of her books in my TBR however, this is my first actual read and OMG! I feel so bereft because I didn't not dig in my TBR pile! I was like, where have you been all my life, and it's right infront of my nose this whole time!
Controlled Chaos is an amalgam of tropes--there's friends to lovers, unrequited love that became the greatest love, rockstar romance, single-parent romance and there's suspense too.
I don't know how else to explain Camden Blackwood--simply, he is everything. He is everything you'd want in a book husband. Sexy, patient, protective, sweet and swoon-worthy. *sigh*
If you loved The Thoughtless Series by SC Stephens, Runaway Train Series by Katie Ashley, We Own Tonight by Corinne Michaels and Midnight Blue by LJ Shen, then this is the book to pick up next.
There are trigger warnings though, so this isn't all lovey-dovey, sunshines and rainbows. There are parts in the book that'll make you angry and break your heart. So please read with care.
