I've been waiting for this book ever since it was announced. I loved the first book and I love hockey, and thought I'd kill two birds with one stone.
This is Bishop and Stevie's story. Stevie is RJ's little sister and Bishop is his new teammate. It's a sweet and swoony story of falling in love unexpectedly. It's an amalgam of tropes—enemies to lovers, falling for the teammate's off-limits sister, friends to lovers... it has everything you'd want to read in a sports contemporary romance.
I have to say, I love this one more than the first one. I don't know... probably because Bishop and Stevie's personal comings and goings is relatable.
This is one of those books where you'd want a paperback copy apart from the ebook one.
