This is my first read from the Author and I loved it! I love discovering new authors—new to me anyway. I'm usually a wee bit wary when it comes to reading from someone I haven't read before but the blurb lured me in and now here we are...
It's a sweet and swoony best-friends to lovers romance in a country setting... and who can resist a good 'ol country romance? Not me!
The pacing was good and the lead characters gave me romantic chills. The storyline isn't something I haven't read before but I actually devoured the book in one day because I couldn't wait to know what happens between Axel and Lia.
It's light and an easy romantic read. It's something you'd want to read after a long days work or just simply chilling at home.
If you're a fan of Winter Renshaw and Lisa Renee Jones then this is the book to pick up next!
